Greenpan offer a range of pans that do not use traditional non-stick coatings that degrade and can produce fumes that are lethal and can even kill small pets and cause headaches and nausea in adults, so overheating you pan will not just damage your food! Some countries are even trying to ban the traditional non stick coating as they fear it is too dangerous. They also use minerals for their coating rather than potentially dangerous plastics. Along with better heat conductors it will also use less fuel to heat and therefore reduce co2 and energy costs. Who would have thought that a simple pan could make such a difference.
